I tried to support small business instead of evil Amazon but it ended up biting me. I ordered a book that I desperately needed but it never arrived and they couldn't offer any insight into where it went. How can you trust a business that doesn't track shipping and successful arrival to their customers outside of the U.S.?! Even their partner outside of the U.S. didn't have any information. A totally unacceptable business model that is designed for their convenience, not for customer satisfaction. Thanks for such kind customer service, Shannon, but kind platitudes only go so far when a customer has been left in the lurch.

Received book when promised, in great condition. Very good book so far!

I am so thrilled to have found Discover Books!! The website is extremely easy to understand, and ordering took just a couple of minutes. The hardest part was deciding which books I wanted to order first! The selection was amazing- my children 8 and 14 have both found lots of books they love, as well as my husband and myself. The prices are fractions of what they were new, and the shipping is FREE whether you order 2 books or 20!! I have recommended Discoverbooks.com to my entire family and many friends. What a happy discovery!
I enjoy ordering books. On my last order I got a Russian grammar book instead of the Italian grammar book I ordered. Turns out, there's a big difference. Who knew? Anyway, reporting the problem seemed really complicated and the book is no longer available. This is sad. But I still order books.
The book was in excellent condition, without markings or annotations. It arrived more quickly than I'd expected. The work was a pleasure to read and I look forward to reading it again.
The book came quickly and was in good shape. The price was really great, too!

They are a legit business, but they're unethical. If you're not a collector and are just looking for a cheap book to read that'll be discarded afterwards, then DB could very well fill the bill (unless you have a problem and want a return, in which case you might be out of luck, depending on the affiliate). For collectors, DB should be avoided at all costs. They lie and cheat for gain.

I've ordered once and everything went smoothly. I received the book, as advertised and in great condition. From the order date it took 11 days to receive, which is quicker than what was promised. There was an inventory sticker on the back, but it's small and just looks like a bar code.

I was looking for a specific cover for a lost book that I was replacing. There were other businesses that may have had the edition I was looking for, but this one seemed the most responsive to issues based on other reviews. And it was the least expensive.
